You, your family, your business, and your church can live the faith through denying one’s self of what we want to better our own lives and buy and/or build homes for those in great need living in extreme poverty. What good God can do through us!
“All day long the wicked covet [crave and crave more for themselves],
but the righteous give and do not hold back” (Proverbs 21:26).

In these times of great darkness, the biggest suffering that our society bears is extreme spiritual poverty.
Sadly, people don’t know how to obtain salvation, which is causing souls to reject the forgiveness Jesus died to give us. The great crosses that many souls bear, which should be leading us to salvation–a saving faith in Jesus–are in vain. As a result, souls are living outside of the perfect peace God promises in this life and for the life to come, for those who grow in faith and come to truly love and trust in Him: His law (the way to Peace).
“Great peace have those who love your law; nothing can make them stumble” (Psalm 119:165).
We have lost sight of endless sins and call “evil good, and good evil” (Isaiah 5:20). And if we do see anything wrong–how we are not obeying God (the way to peace)–most souls put a half-hearted effort or don’t even try to follow so many of God’s laws (lacking great love for Him). We are clinging to sin, worldly pleasures, and our will (seeking what we want) as the way to happiness (have many idols), lacking true faith in Jesus and true contrition for our sins. It is tragic!
To help alleviate this horrible reality, the Saint Francis Project aims to provide a means for our missionaries and even other charities to offer spiritual help alongside physical assistance to those in need. This way, God’s children can “grow into salvation” (1 Peter 2:2), that is, obtain a faith in Jesus that can accept His forgiveness that gives us a happy earthly and eternal life, which is more important than anything.
“Whoever has two coats must share with anyone who has none; and whoever has food must do likewise” (Luke 3:11).
“A righteous person supplies the needs of his animals but the heart of the wicked is without mercy [towards animals in need]” (Proverbs 12:10).
“Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another [being selfless, caring for their earthly & spiritual needs (seeking their salvation)]” (John 13:34).
